What is the background to your mission ‘To make sustainable electric mobility easy and accessible for everyone”?
Our mission was formed over a decade ago, as the companies that comprises Mer today, was established on a business model based on the transition to sustainable electric mobility. Hence, our mission remains as a blue thread in our company history, and is a proof of our unwavering and withstanding commitment to doing good.
How do you foster a culture of passion and entrepreneurial spirit?
We are working deliberately with culture and how we incorporate our company values into everything we do. We decided on our company values as a team – where every Meroe in the company participated in several workshops, to ensure that they resonate with everyone and that they would be useful, not just some fancy buzzwords. Hence, our company values are: We are Passionate, We are Sustainable, We are Entrepreneurial.
What advice would you leave brand and marketing leaders thinking of applying for the 2023/24 CHARGE Awards? Do you have any tips or a story to share about winning?
It takes a bit of effort to create the case study for this award, yet I found the process to be very rewarding for our team in brand, communication and marketing. The case study is a synopsis of the company and our products and services – but it also turned out to be some sort of a tribute to the amazing work of our function. In addition to promoting our company externally, getting recognition and also connecting with peers in similar or other industries – it was great for our internal engagement and internal marketing. 10/10 would recommend!
